New combo therapy for lung cancer under Real-World watch
NCT ID NCT07563205
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This observational study follows 100 adults with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer who have certain EGFR gene mutations and are receiving amivantamab plus platinum-based chemotherapy through an early access program. Researchers will collect medical data to see how long the treatment keeps the cancer from progressing. No extra tests are needed—just routine care.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- amivantamab plus platinum-based chemotherapy
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this study could show that combining amivantamab with chemotherapy helps control metastatic lung cancer longer in people with specific EGFR mutations.
- What could go wrong
- This is an observational study, not a controlled trial, so results may be less reliable. It is also small (100 people) and only follows participants for about 1.5 years.
