First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests whether loratadine, a common allergy medicine, can prevent or reduce bone pain caused by a drug called G-CSF used during stem cell collection. About 78 adults with lymphoma or multiple myeloma who are scheduled for a stem cell transplant will take either loratadine or a placebo. The goal is to see if this simple, low-cost approach can make the procedure more comfortable.
