New study tracks safety of popular Crohn's and colitis drug over time

Summary
This study looks at the long-term safety of the drug ustekinumab compared to other biologic treatments in adults with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. Researchers will use electronic health records from the Department of Defense to track rates of cancer, serious infections, and other infections. About 1,056 participants who are new users of these drugs will be followed over time.
