NCT ID NCT05681481
First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at the long-term safety of a drug called efgartigimod for adults with moderate-to-severe bullous pemphigoid, a condition that causes painful blisters. Participants who completed an earlier study could receive the drug for up to 48 weeks, with the option to pause and restart if symptoms returned. The goal was to see if the drug is safe over time, but it is not a cure—patients may need ongoing treatment.
