Year-long safety check for youth mental health medication

Summary
This study tested the long-term safety of cariprazine, a medication, in children and teenagers with schizophrenia, bipolar I disorder, or autism spectrum disorder. Over 300 participants took flexible doses of the medication for 52 weeks while researchers monitored for side effects. The main goal was to understand the safety and risk-benefit profile of using this medication long-term in young patients.
