Summary
This study looks at whether the weight-loss drug phentermine, which is currently only approved for short-term use (up to 12 weeks), can be safely used for up to 2 years. Researchers will track weight loss, blood pressure, and other health measures in 870 adults with obesity or overweight plus related health issues. The goal is to see if long-term use helps manage obesity as a chronic condition.
