This study follows American Indians with type 2 diabetes to understand the long-term effects of a previous kidney treatment trial. Researchers are observing how kidney disease progresses over many years through regular tests, scans, and optional biopsies. No new treatment is provided—this is purely an observational study to gather knowledge about diabetes complications in this community.
