Extended safety check for COPD-related heart-lung drug
NCT ID NCT03794583
Summary
This study aimed to check the long-term safety of an inhaled medication called treprostinil for people with both chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and high blood pressure in their lungs. It was an extension study for 41 participants who had already completed a previous trial. The study was terminated early, and participants continued taking the medication while researchers monitored for side effects and changes in walking ability and breathing.
