NCT ID NCT07766447
First seen Aug 14, 2026 · Last updated Aug 14, 2026
Summary
This study aims to see if it's possible to set up a long-term monitoring program for French soldiers who were physically injured in combat. Researchers will follow about 20 wounded veterans to track their health over time, including quality of life and physical function. The goal is to understand what complications may arise years after injury and to standardize follow-up care for these individuals.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- biological and radiological examinations
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this could lead to a standardized lifelong monitoring program for war-wounded soldiers, helping to detect and manage long-term complications early.
- What could go wrong
- This is a small pilot study focused on feasibility, so it may not provide definitive answers about long-term health outcomes. The results may not apply to all injured veterans.
