Scientists track Body's response after Week-Long fast

Summary

This study aims to understand what happens to the body and a person's health after completing a long, medically supervised fast. It will follow 300 people with diabetes, prediabetes, or who are overweight during a fasting program of 5 or more days and for three months afterward. Researchers will use surveys, blood tests, and wearable glucose monitors to track changes in weight, metabolism, diet, and overall wellbeing.
