This study followed 23 people who were hospitalized with severe COVID-19 to see if they developed blood sugar problems or diabetes later on. Researchers measured changes in blood sugar levels over three months. The goal was to understand if severe COVID-19 increases the risk of diabetes, even in people who had no history of the disease before infection.
