Tracking the hidden toll: cancer Survivors' dental health 7 years later

NCT ID NCT05325970

Summary

This study follows head and neck cancer survivors to understand the long-term dental effects of their radiation treatment. Researchers are checking in with about 350 people from a previous study roughly 7 years after their radiation therapy started. They are measuring problems like tooth decay, gum disease, tooth loss, and bone damage to learn how common these issues are years later.
