First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study followed 318 people with chest pain for about 10 years to see how well a CT-first approach works compared to directly using an invasive angiogram. Participants had already been in an earlier study. Researchers measured plaque buildup in heart arteries using CT scans. The goal was to learn which strategy better tracks long-term heart disease.
