Tracking the lasting impact: how breast cancer treatment affects women years later

NCT ID NCT05926024

Summary

This study aims to understand how early breast cancer treatment affects women's quality of life and daily function years after they finish therapy. Researchers are following 253 women who are cancer-free for at least three years, comparing those who received chemotherapy to those who did not. The study uses questionnaires to track long-term side effects like fatigue, memory changes, and nerve problems to learn which factors predict better or worse long-term outcomes.
