Could a sauna session ease long COVID fatigue?
NCT ID NCT05931497
Summary
This small pilot study is testing whether a sauna-like whole-body heat treatment can help reduce symptoms of Long COVID, especially fatigue. Researchers will enroll 21 people with Long COVID to test the treatment's feasibility and see if it improves fatigue, sleep, and inflammation. The main goal is to see if the treatment is acceptable and safe for patients, and to gather initial data on whether it helps.
