Could breathing carbon dioxide clear long COVID brain fog?
NCT ID NCT06928506
Summary
This study is testing whether a special breathing device called Hi-OxSR can help reduce symptoms of Long COVID, especially brain fog and fatigue. The device works by having participants re-breathe a small amount of carbon dioxide, which may calm an overactive immune system. Researchers will enroll 120 adults who have had cognitive problems for at least two months after a COVID-19 infection to find the safest and most effective way to use the device.
