Blood filter trial offers hope for debilitating long COVID fatigue
NCT ID NCT07316127
Summary
This study is testing a treatment called immunoadsorption for people with long COVID who have harmful antibodies in their blood. The treatment filters the blood to remove these antibodies. About 70 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the real blood-filtering treatment or a placebo procedure. The main goal is to see if this reduces severe fatigue and improves daily life over six months.
