Can surgery or radiation boost lung cancer control after targeted therapy?

NCT ID NCT07073365

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether adding surgery or radiation to the main tumor can help people with advanced EGFR-mutant lung cancer who have already responded to a combination of osimertinib and chemotherapy. About 70 adults will receive local therapy and be followed to see how long the cancer stays under control. The goal is to improve outcomes without needing lifelong medication changes.
