NCT ID NCT07248553

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study is looking at 60 women who are getting a hormone-releasing IUD (LNG-IUD) to see if the timing of insertion during their menstrual cycle affects whether they develop ovarian cysts. Researchers will use ultrasound to check for cysts at 0, 3, 6, and 12 months after insertion. The goal is to find the best time to insert the IUD to lower the chance of cysts forming.
