New device aims to sharpen precision of liver cancer radiation

NCT ID NCT07444645

Summary

This study is testing a new catheter system called TriNav to see if it can improve the delivery of targeted radiation treatment (Y90 radioembolization) to liver tumors. Researchers will compare how well the new system delivers a special dye to tumors versus a standard catheter, using CT scans. The goal is to see if the new system helps focus more radiation on the tumor while protecting healthy liver tissue.
