New device aims to sharpen aim of liver cancer radiation

NCT ID NCT07444645

Summary

This study is testing a new catheter system called TriNav for delivering targeted radiation therapy (Y90 radioembolization) to liver tumors. It will compare how well this new system delivers a contrast dye to tumors versus standard catheters, using special CT scans. The main goals are to see if it improves treatment targeting and to check for any safety issues in up to 20 adults with liver tumors.
