First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at how well different types of liver transplants work for people whose colorectal cancer has spread to the liver and cannot be removed by standard surgery. Researchers will compare living versus deceased donor transplants, whole versus split liver, and one-step versus two-step procedures. They will track recovery, complications, and survival one year after transplant. About 80 adults will take part, and blood samples will be collected for future research.
