Summary
This research aims to better understand how two key hormones, insulin and glucagon, work together in the liver to control blood sugar levels. Healthy volunteers will undergo specialized tests where their blood sugar is carefully maintained while receiving hormone infusions. The goal is to gather knowledge that could lead to more effective future drugs for diabetes, but this study itself does not test a new treatment.
