First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tested a new ultrasound feature that measures liver fat and compared it to the standard MRI method. 60 adults with or at risk for fatty liver disease had both scans. The goal was to see if the ultrasound could give similar results to the MRI, which could make liver fat checks easier and cheaper.
