New scan aims to simplify fatty liver diagnosis

Summary
This study tested a new ultrasound feature to see if it could measure fat in the liver as well as a standard MRI scan. It involved 60 adults who were at risk for or had non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Each participant had two special ultrasound exams and one MRI scan to compare the results.
