Cheaper, easier liver scan tested in new study
NCT ID NCT07192159
Summary
This study is testing a new type of ultrasound scan, called DeepUSFF, to see if it can accurately measure fat in the liver for people with fatty liver disease (MASLD). Researchers will compare the results from this new ultrasound to the results from a more expensive and less available MRI scan, which is the current best non-invasive method. The goal is to see if this simpler, more accessible test could be a good alternative for doctors to monitor the condition.
