Scientists grow Mini-Livers from patient bile to crack disease code

Summary
This study aims to better understand Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC), a serious liver disease, and related cancers. Researchers will collect bile samples from 300 people with and without PSC during routine medical procedures. They will use these samples to grow tiny 3D liver models called organoids in the lab to study how the disease develops and progresses.
