New combo targets liver tumors in advanced breast cancer

NCT ID NCT06875128

First seen Mar 01, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving high-dose chemotherapy directly to the liver, followed by standard cancer pills or infusions, works better than standard treatment alone for people with breast cancer that has spread mainly to the liver. About 90 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups. The goal is to see if the liver-directed approach can control liver tumors longer and improve outcomes.
