First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests a device called DIALIVE 2.0, which acts like a dialysis machine for the liver, in people with acute-on-chronic liver failure (ACLF) grades 2-4. About 72 adults aged 18-70 with liver cirrhosis and recent worsening will either receive standard care or standard care plus up to 7 daily sessions with the device. The goal is to see if the device helps resolve liver failure and improves survival without needing a liver transplant.
