New hope for tough liver cancer: radiation and drug combo targets deadly vein blockages
NCT ID NCT06823375
Summary
This study is testing if adding a precise, high-dose radiation treatment (SBRT) to a standard two-drug immunotherapy regimen can help people with advanced liver cancer that has spread into a major vein. The vein blockage makes the cancer much harder to treat and drastically shortens life expectancy. Researchers aim to see if this combined approach can improve survival and control the cancer better than the drugs alone.
