New targeted chemo tested for inoperable liver cancer
NCT ID NCT03727633
Summary
This study is testing a targeted chemotherapy treatment for liver cancer in patients who also have liver scarring (cirrhosis) and cannot have surgery. Doctors inject a chemotherapy drug mixed with an oily agent directly into the liver's blood supply to try to control the tumor. The main goal is to see if this treatment can stop the cancer from growing for at least 4 months and to check how safe it is for patients.
