New computer tool aims to catch liver cancer earlier
NCT ID NCT06624189
Summary
This study is testing a new computer system designed to help doctors remember to order liver ultrasound scans for their patients with cirrhosis. The goal is to improve screening for liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) by making it easier for doctors to place the right orders during a patient's visit. The research team will see if this tool leads to more patients getting their recommended scans.
