Targeted radiation zaps inoperable liver tumors in new trial

NCT ID NCT07110233

Summary

This study is testing a targeted radiation treatment for people with early-stage liver cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. Doctors will inject tiny radioactive beads directly into the blood vessels feeding the tumor to deliver a high dose of radiation. The main goals are to see how well the treatment shrinks the tumors and to monitor its safety and impact on patients' quality of life and survival.
