Scientists take closer look at Radiation's effect on liver tumors

NCT ID NCT04668872

Summary

This study aims to better understand how liver tumors respond to a targeted radiation treatment called Y90 radioembolization. Researchers will collect small tissue samples from participants' tumors after treatment to examine the effects. The findings could help improve how this treatment is delivered to patients whose colorectal cancer has spread to the liver.
