Summary

This study tested whether a specific pump and catheter system was a safe way to deliver chemotherapy directly into the liver for patients with colorectal cancer or cholangiocarcinoma that had spread to the liver. The goal was to see if this method could control the cancer in the liver with fewer side effects. The trial involved 35 patients and was completed at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
