New Two-Pronged attack aims to shrink 'Unremovable' liver tumors for surgery
NCT ID NCT07305428
Summary
This pilot study is testing a new strategy for patients with liver cancer that cannot be surgically removed. Researchers will combine immunotherapy (which uses the body's immune system) with highly focused radiation to try to shrink tumors. The goal is to make the cancer small enough for surgeons to operate on, potentially improving survival chances for these patients.
