Smart pillbox spies on bipolar Patients' medication habits

NCT ID NCT07167563

Summary

This study aims to understand how well people with bipolar disorder follow their prescribed lithium medication schedule in everyday life. Researchers will give 50 participants a special pillbox that records when they take their pills and compare this to what patients report in weekly phone calls. The goal is to see if patients take their medication daily, at consistent times, and if they accurately remember when they took their last dose before blood tests.
