First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looked at using simple blood tests (liquid biopsies) to find a specific resistance mutation called T790M in 70 patients with advanced lung cancer in Tunisia. The goal was to see how often the mutation appears when the cancer stops responding to initial targeted therapy. Researchers also checked if repeating the test or looking at patient characteristics could help predict resistance and outcomes.
