New blood test could spot deadly liver cancer earlier

NCT ID NCT07225452

Summary

This study tested a new blood test to detect a rare but aggressive liver cancer called intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma. Researchers analyzed tiny genetic signals in the blood of 535 people to see if they could accurately identify the cancer. The goal is to create a simpler, non-invasive way to catch this cancer earlier, when treatment is more likely to succeed.
