Blood test could catch Cancer's return before symptoms appear

NCT ID NCT05774561

Summary

This study is testing whether simple 'liquid biopsies'—like blood tests, mouth rinses, and swabs—can help doctors monitor patients after treatment for HPV-related cancers. Researchers want to see if these tests can detect signs that the cancer might be returning much earlier than current methods. The goal is to create a better system for follow-up care that is less burdensome for patients.
