First seen Feb 25, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tests a drug called liposomal irinotecan, given directly into the belly, for people with malignant ascites (fluid buildup from cancer) that hasn't improved with standard treatments. The drug is tested alone or with other medicines (TNF or bevacizumab). The goal is to find the best dose and see if it can shrink the fluid. About 48 adults with digestive system cancers are being recruited.
