First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study follows up on mothers and their 14-year-old children from a previous trial where pregnant women with obesity were given a low-calorie diet and exercise program. Researchers want to see if these lifestyle changes during pregnancy can reduce the risk of obesity in the next generation. About 301 families are being invited for check-ups including body scans and glucose monitoring.
