Scientists seek clues in blood to unravel mysteries of cholesterol disorders
NCT ID NCT00353782
Summary
This study aims to better understand how disorders of blood fats (like cholesterol) develop over time and contribute to heart and blood vessel diseases. Researchers will observe and perform detailed blood tests on up to 2,000 people who have unusually high or low levels of these fats. The goal is to gather knowledge to improve future diagnosis and treatment, not to test a new therapy on participants.
