NCT ID NCT07246681
First seen Nov 25, 2025 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a substance called lignin (derived from plants) to the usual triple therapy for H. pylori infection improves how often the infection is cleared. About 70 adults with a first-time H. pylori diagnosis will take either lignin or a placebo daily for two weeks alongside their standard antibiotics. Researchers will also check for side effects and see if lignin helps reduce the discomfort often caused by the antibiotics.
