First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special light device (photobiomodulation) can safely reduce mouth sores caused by chronic graft-versus-host disease, a common complication after stem cell transplants. About 44 people aged 4 and older who have not improved with standard treatments will receive either real or placebo light therapy. The main goal is to see if the sores improve after 28 days.
