Morning light shines hope for veterans with brain injury pain
NCT ID NCT03785600
Summary
This study tested whether morning bright light therapy could help veterans with mild traumatic brain injury sleep better and reduce their chronic pain. Researchers enrolled 77 veterans who had both sleep problems and persistent pain. They wanted to see if this simple, non-drug light treatment could break the cycle where poor sleep worsens pain and pain worsens sleep.
