Shining a light on cancer treatment pain
NCT ID NCT06625619
Summary
This study looks at whether a special light therapy can help reduce painful mouth sores and other oral problems in cancer patients receiving stem cell transplants. Researchers will observe 6 adult patients and their nurses to see how well the therapy works at controlling symptoms like pain, dry mouth, and taste changes. The goal is to gather real-world evidence on this new standard care approach for managing treatment side effects.
