Shining a light on depression: simple therapy tested for vulnerable group
NCT ID NCT06215235
Summary
This study is testing whether a simple, non-drug treatment called bright light therapy can help reduce feelings of depression in adults with intellectual disabilities. The researchers are working with care organizations to see how practical and acceptable this therapy is for both staff and patients. They will also check if using the light therapy leads to a reduction in depressive symptoms and related behaviors.
