Summary

This study tested whether a special light treatment could improve thinking, sleep, and metabolism in 25 people with mild cognitive impairment or mild Alzheimer's disease who also had sleep problems. Participants lived at home and were not blind or on insulin for diabetes. The researchers measured changes in glucose control, sleep patterns, and light exposure over time.
