First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested whether a special lighting setup could help people with mild Alzheimer's disease and type 2 diabetes sleep better and improve their blood sugar. 61 participants living in assisted living or nursing homes were exposed to either the special light or a regular light for 8 weeks. The goal was to see if the light could reset the body's internal clock and reduce inflammation and metabolic problems.
